Spiker Hood Struts

Aside from the under hood LEDs, I also acquired a set of Spiker Engineering Hood Struts. I successfully installed them today and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. Regrettably, I deviated from the instructions and opted to have my daughter assist in holding the hood while I drilled the holes. Her positioning wasn't exact, resulting in a gain of about 4" instead of the intended 8". Nevertheless, the outcome is still impressive, and I'm relieved to be free from the hassle of dealing with the factory rod.
